Gold Needle Ltd is a professional tailoring and clothing alterations studio in North London, specialising in wedding dress alterations, suit tailoring, high-quality garment  and general clothing alterations. Based in Hornsey, we serve clients across Muswell Hill, Crouch End, Highgate, Highbury, Islington, Finchley, Barnet, Hampstead and surrounding areas. 

Founded by Olga Trojan in 2012. The studio specialises in wedding dress alterations, suit tailoring and high-quality clothing alterations for all garments.

With over 40 years of experience in the fashion and tailoring industry, Olga is highly regarded for her expertise in pattern cutting, garment construction and couture-level alterations. Her career includes working with some of London’s most established tailoring houses, including companies appointed as manufacturers of coats and uniforms to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as well as collaborations with Savile Row tailors and leading London alteration specialists.

Gold Needle is known for precision tailoring and meticulous craftsmanship across a wide range of garments — from everyday clothing alterations to complex bridal, couture and vintage alterations. The atelier works closely with wedding dress designers and bridal specialists, ensuring every garment is altered with care, accuracy and respect for its original design and structure.

The studio has also provided professional tailoring and clothing alterations services to the television and entertainment industry, including British television productions and award appearances. This reflects Gold Needle’s ability to meet the highest standards under demanding conditions, where precision, discretion and attention to detail are essential.

Today, Gold Needle Ltd is led by Olga and Katie, combining traditional tailoring expertise with a modern, client-focused approach.
